Why trance stick over say a CoT? Is that because faster + damage bonus is better than slower but better ratio? A la moss covered twig? I know the proc doesn't go off till 30 or 35.

They are useful to fuck with casters at 30+ (push, stun) and when you are tanking. If I had to guess Wu's Quivering Staff will be better than JM/KD until your DW skill cap at 35, at that point you have a few more moneymaking options as well. AC/SoS is only like 12k now anyway with Chardok being AOED down 50x per day, and that will be quite competitive with most monks (i.e. everyone without a Bo Staff of Trorsmang or Wu's Fist of Mastery).
Because of the non-classic monk skill caps (I bug reported this and Haynar decided to mock me) H2H really sucks until high 50s when it kind of catches up with 1HB/2HB (although not 100%).
