Is there any link clearly explaining the difference in how the level 39 charm and the level 27 charm function? Astuce is asserting that the level 39 charm should still last a long time like it used to, but the caster's realm link says that it lasts three ticks.

The tough part is that you would need to find people specifically talking about how it functioned in game at that time.
Sadly the "three tic" duration is accurate but it does not tell us if the song repeats on its own or fades... I wish I knew the answer for certain but my bard on live wasn't used that much and I didn't charm with it at the time.
