Things pick up with charming after 16 and breeze. I charmed until 39, then at 39 I found I could easily solo with the animation because of his improved regen (pet will almost outregen blue con mob dps at 39 after it is slowed. It was a joke after 44 with Shiftless Deeds). At that point, it was a toss-up for me. The animation was slow, steady, easy exp for when I didn't want to pay attention, but if I really wanted to work I could charm and it would be faster.
