Yes, there is MQ detection, has been on all of their servers. The teams layout seems to have got the most positive feedback from everybody here, hence the reason why they will use it. 2 boxing is allowed till pop grows. Also, the reason why training is allowed is because it is a pain in the ass to police. I personally love training people so this is a + for me

There is going to be an open beta to make sure shit works. I do not think they want to just release a server without testing and tweaking some. Since Rogean and crew keep their code under their pillows, things need to be ironed out.

What are the server Rules?
Note: Report all Exploits and Bugs you find. If not comfortable posting in the bug section please PM it to image on the forums or report via in-game /bug and note to keep it private. If we see in the logs you have exploited something you will be banned. This includes external hacks (mq2) and broken or bugged game mechanics.
Rule 1: NO MacroQuest or other hacks, exploits (content, pathing, etc.). This also includes distribution and providing support for these 3rd party products. !! NOT ALLOWED !!
Rule 2: Be respectful of staff.
Rule 3: Training *IS* legal ONLY on single groups and Players only.
Training Raids are NOT LEGAL.
Rule 4: Bind camping is NOT permitted. With one exception, if a player is afk at their bind. Once they are back from AFK status you must then move on.
Rule 5: Loot n Scoot rules are in effect (PVP-combat only). Please note there are victim rules and non-victim (observers/possible pvp combatants). Read both as they can apply to all parties in a different way.
Victim: After death you must announce you are on a corpse run, via OOC within 10 minutes of death. After announcing you have a total of 20 minutes to recover the corpse.
Victim: After being killed by another player you may take a DIRECT path to loot your corpse and then safely leave the zone you died in.
Victim: Unless agreed upon by all parties, you must leave the zone for 10 minutes minimum. After 10 minutes have elapsed you may re-enter. Please note that zone times are recorded!
Victim: If your bind is in the same zone, you still must leave the zone for 10mins. If you do not, LNS immunity DOES NOT APPLY.
Non-Victim: Players on Loot and Scoot are not to be touched! NO detrimental spells AT ALL! Should the player break the loot and scoot rules (they attack you melee or by detrimental spell) you may defend yourself.
Non-Victim: Players on Loot and Scoot have a varying window as distance can be a factor, however no time frame larger than 20 minutes from announcement to recover and be in a Loot and Scoot status.
LNS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR TRAINING OTHER GROUPS. YOU HAVE A TRAIN YOUR LNS IS FORFEIT.
Rule 6:
DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR LOGIN INFORMATION - we will not be held responsible if you have someone on your account because you shared your password and your items are stolen or they try to control your account via eqemulator.net.
Rule 7: We do not allow transfer of items/characters for monetary value - All transfers on this server should be on an item/plat/in-game 'currency' basis. No real money should be used in exchange for virtual characters or items on the server. Do not use our server or forums for conducting RMT it will result in a BAN!
Nor do we move characters because you forgot your password, or other such things, account security and the like are your problems.
