soon we will see AoN contests with 80 players and 5K buy ins
Nobody buys overpriced, EC flipped items....so how are they gonna sell them......disguise as a contest!
Why do you have to basically receive more plat than this item is worth for holding this? This screams less and less about fun good will, and more like a way to flip your item for a profit.
GL to you

As I have stated in other posts. Plat and items hold no value to me except to do fun contests (that no one else is offering) free giveaways, be able to set my bet limit higher to cater to more people. Why should I make an extra 25k for hosting the contest? No one else is hosting them and I'd like to be able to make them a regular thing. I'm not hiding the fact that I'd be making 25k (roughly) profit on the contest. No one else is hosting contests on their free time for cost of the item or hosting contests period. I'm just trying to add some spice to people who like these ideas, so why don't you set up a contest and I'll be the first person to sign up.
(No one else is offering the chance to win a fungi for 5k)
I'd like ideas to help ensure that the contest is 100% fair, so please if you want to comment on how there's a 25k profit, or how 1/25 chance to win a fungi for 5k is terrible odds, I ask you to refrain. This thread is for people who want to participate in the idea. No one is making you do this.
To reiterate: I don't need items or plat for anything in game. I'm not trying to tweak my bard more than he already is. The play I make isn't going into selfish reasons. (I know this might be hard for people to believe but I have no use for any items) So I fail to see what is wrong with offering a contest for a chance to win a fungi for 5k. As wrench said sounded interesting until he realized there was a 25k profit.. Who cares it's a chance to win a fungi for 5k. I don't see any other chances to get a fungi for 5k or less besides camping it or winning my fungi random.
