I will throw out play what class you like the most. I am a huge fan of rangers and i have played a druid as well. Druids are no where as good a healer as a cleric even with clarity. The whole skill overlap doesnt seem like a big issue to me since druid will be meding alot being the main healer. Rangers are pretty good tanks depending on the gear you are wearing. Gears usually cheaper as said above. Can tank classic stuff no problem with slows. I feel much of the bard utitly is overlaped with a chanter. Their haste is better, they have slows. They meant charmed pets dps + bard dps > ranger dps.
