Pros: DOAC pvp is amazingly fun. Low level battle grounds where you can learn, higher lvl where its very complex.

DAOC PVE is a lot like what you are used to with EQ. You grind your character, there are some dungeons but no instances. Grouping is essential.

Graphics aren't bad from what I remember, nothing like modern but enjoyable still.

Cons: Game is hard. At least when I played in beta and in launch there were no guides or maps so you were figuring everything out on your own. I'm sure now it's easier just like P99 is a hollow shell of what EQ on launch actually was. This is also a Pro for many people.

Much like in everquest, the hardest classes to level are often the most fun in pvp. A rogue type class in insanely fun. There is no "See invis" and you can run into a group of people and kill someone and sometimes escape. That being said, without "twink' gear you are going to find it extremely hard to level.

All in all I think I may give it a try. I may find myself un-installing after an hour of remember how hard it is, or may remember how fun it is in pvp and stick around.

@Tune- Will I have fun?
Well, there is a "Bard" class that is essential for pvp for speed, mez, etc so you may enjoy that. Also with the amount of time you dedicated to your character you will excel at that game easily and enjoy the high-end pvp.
