My favorite measure of a good enc is when I know they're soloing, and I see:
"You will not evade me, Soandso!"
"You will not evade me, Soandso!"
"You will not evade me, Soandso!"
and then I /who and they're still alive.

Especially when there are multiple mobs doing the summoning! Although sometimes that could indicate the chanter did something bad, even if he manages to survive it
