We played v.2 & 3. Character sheets, lots of books, dice, some figurines. Hi I loved painting those precious little things and keep my blue dragon in my kitchen window still.

Hubby & I actually met on the way to a D&D game [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Mutual friend of ours picked me up then swung by to get him. He looked over his shoulder with a speculative gleam in his eye and he's been my DM ever since, lol. I'm the only cleric I know of that had a pet shoulder dragon [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I played a healer of course. Our parties varied in size from 4 to 12 people depending on who wanted to party. We had a friend who didn't play but was our bard and would sit in the background playing his guitar, lol. Another friend (RIP) who had a little man's complex, he always played a guy who's ride was an ogre and did the most outrageous chit creating more adventure on his own we could often handle.

I learned quickly don't ask for wishes, you'd get them instantly, behind every bush! But wording those wishes took FOREVER and he'd fork us every time. Fireballs in dungeons are bad. Approach water with caution. Stealing dice and lighters was acceptable. Leaving the table setup to play for weeks was the norm.

We've still got our books & dice tho we haven't played in years now, everyone scattered to the winds over the years. I miss the fun and companionship of those house parties, we had a blast.

Great thread!
