If a ranger is what you enjoy, then go for it! I know a couple of good ranger pullers, and they'll be more appealing to the "min/max" crowd when the hybrid penalty disappears in Velious.
I quit Live when they shut down a new blue server voted on by players (Trakanon) which had a great community and merged us with Tunare. "Swish" or "Swishxxxxxx" ? I quit! Then came here and haven't looked back
