There is also the added point of, with statues of people who served in the American Civil War (or, "The War Of Northern Agression"), if the statue faces North, they were a Yankee. If the statue faces South, they fought for the Confederacy.

Coincidentally, the saying of "The South Shall Rise Again!" is true for all men that don't suffer from E.D., Castration, or other penile injuries. :P
