I stay because I have not yet arrived at the conclusions that I should leave; I do believe that I can make a difference with the leadership. I've done so to some small degree. For example, the Ragefire rotation that was going to be jumped in favor of Jaed was instead respected specifically because Elethia and I issued an ultimatum that we would leave otherwise. I agree with you that my words would have a lot more impact publicly if I deguilded, but my continued membership does not make my words valueless. I don't stay for the pixels (The last loot I got was 2 years ago). I stay for the friends that I have made and because I have real hope that the organization can always better how it interacts with the community.
People like Thrump, Zagum, Portsche, Canker, Elethia, Dolic, Kingore, and many others are excellent people and I value the time I spend with them. We all make TMO a fun place to be, and we do it in a way that makes the guild better. I don't want to sit here to try and act like TMO Jesus. I just want us to behave reasonably. I've seen that happen, and I think it can happen again.
I know that I've accomplished very little, but I have accomplished something in my time here. That is what keeps me going.

Fair enough... thank you for the sincere answer. If the group of individuals you mentioned truly cared about your guild and the reputation it espouses on this server, then stop turning the other cheek. Every stupid forumquesting post dragging another guild through the mud, every train, every shady tactic, every leapfrog. HOLD. THEM. ACCOUNTABLE.
The people who are tarnishing your guild's image clearly are not worth the trouble as you are witnessing today, as everyone not in TMO is out for blood here. And I cannot see how you could fail to reflect on why: It's not because of your reasonable dialogue and you being the voice of reason... it's due to those who are recognizably counterproductive to creating the guild reputation you wish TMO had.
You want a challenge? How about something far more lofty than "monopolizing the raid content"? Stand your ground with the other "Xastens" in TMO and make a Ragefire-esque ultimatum over having these clowns turning your guild into something you appear to be ashamed of. It worked before, didn't it?
Time to raise the stakes, is all I'm saying. We would all be MUCH MORE impressed with a complete overhaul of TMO and their interaction with the rest of the server than whether you got 50 Traks in a row or got the first primal weapons out of ST or whatever.
Otherwise, you're just guilty by association -- and I think you're better than that from the way you present yourself here.
