Due to no variance, every mob worth fighting for is done one day a week for a minimal window by a force that no one can touch.
Should I even log on today? Probably not, which is why it is a barren wasteland except for people leveling up, who will eventually come to the same realization everyone else does and just stop logging on.
We have a good system here.
