I can't take it anymore. Sorry about the de-rail here, but I keep seeing people on this forum using karma completely wrong. It is NOT cause and effect, that is nothing more than westernized non-sense and misunderstanding. Karma spans over multiple life spans, and it is VERY RARE for karma to influence your current life and especially instantly and or the present.
That being said, back to the thread at hand. Detecting multi-boxers can be a real hassle. A lot of behavior such as a character following around another character, only healing or buffing every now and then could simply be explained away as a room-mate, girlfriend, wife, friend helping the person out. I haven't done much grouping with my girlfriend on this server (mainly because she overpulls and always gets herself killed) but if I power leveled her, the amount of pause between me pulling something, and her engaging the NPC because she's an air head when it comes to spatial awareness; it would CERTAINLY look like I'm two boxing.
There was also a scenario I encountered where I supposedly got reported for two-boxing a trade in east common lands tunnel. I was on my rogue, she [my girlfriend] was on my mage and I had her hand my rogue two bags full of stuff. The comment I got in say was "Fucking two boxers" ... Both clients were human attended, but there was no way of telling this. It's not cut and dry as people are making it out to be for reporting someone and it creates work for the server staff to investigate. Be sure about it, look into it, follow the person around. If it's important enough to report, it's important enough to investigate yourself. Treat it like a train event, FRAPS it. Log your conversation with them. Take intermediary screen shots of strange behavior.
I don't know the server staff that well, but I've seen it more times than not that GMs on EQEMU server staff will ban people without a thorough investigation, just because there is nothing better to do than witch hunt after the important petitions are clear. The jealousy on these servers make people see things that aren't really happening. (GM abuse is a prime example -- I doubt it happens here, but there are a shit load of you telling me on a daily basis that it is)
