This goes against the law of R99 physics though - as more population isn't allowed and the server isn't able to thrive. |
People need to stop saying xp bonus will fix our population problems. All these bonuses do is inflate the amount of people who log on temporarily. I'm not saying that we shouldn't have them, as a 54 necro playing catch up, but it is not the answer to our population woes.
As a newb myself (from blue, non nihi, az, rd) the biggest problem I face is lvl 60 geared out toons that absolutely steam roll me. I consider myself at least average in Pvp and have spent many hours farming plat to get my resist somewhat respectable but I have started playing my necro less and started leveling another char because it's more fun. Getting owned sucks.
My guild, HECK, left the server because they had limited play time and saw that on this box to catch up and contend in the end game you need, at least initially, a huge time investment to get over the hump. This is a result of FFA Pvp and an 8 lvl range.
