You could've post poned it so a gm who actually gives a shit could've hosted it, not changed the rules mid-fight because they thought it was "boring", and most importantly give a small amount of care about it.
Rather have no events over events like this. This was a shame, just like that Bounty Hunter event a few weeks ago.
