What makes this even worse is since you already were on island 3, I'm assuming you guys got the Overseer anyways after IB killed Djorn.

hmm you sure u know what u are talking about? The rules state it is first to engage not who can generate the most threat, IB was on island 3 as well, and overseer hits for quad 782 and DTs so no we did not kill him. Noone has.
