I live in Dallas and it is nice being close to Mexico. I wouldn't give up having cheap labor taking care of my lawn or Rosie taking care of the kids. As an added bonus kids learn Spanish. As for the weather, girls are wearing skirts 8 or 9 months out of the year. There are pools everywhere. Girls have pressure to look better since they have to wear less and therefor girls are much hotter here than someplace like NY. We also have a better standard of living here. Obviously if you are a hot shot in NY you aren't worried about that but I doubt anyone on here is. If you make $100k here it will go a lot farther than the $130-140k you may make in NY for an equivalent job. Shit that 30k extra is already swallowed up with private schools, daycare, parking, and state income tax.
