Also, the game is insanely speed runnable atm. You just go to the highest threat planet, snag a weapon from a box or a boxed in humanoid npc on the surface, make boss spawner, trap him on the terrain because pathing / collision is fucking hilarious atm, and move on. Highest tier has these schematics required to move to impervium tier, but crafting the individual armor sets is just so pointless as shit will still 1 shot you on any threat level higher than your current defense. So you use your high weapon to 1 shot them first or simply just trap them in blocks and move on/kill. Refinery handles pixel issues so death is a non issue--and pixels really aren't important past the first tier either as only a few things need to be crafted.
Game has some issues, their algorithms for procedural generation need tons of work (constraints) but it's a fantastic base.
edit: A glaring issue...Platinum is not available in ore form outside of very lucky chest drops until a threat 40 world (highest threat lvl planet). Unfortunately, it's needed for the 25 defense armors, which are precursors to titanium armor (30 defense armors) which means you'll have to fight the tier boss of that level in like 15ish armor gear. Insane 1 shot every time, and he has projectile attacks that break blocks so unless he gets fully collision bugged and stops attacking, he's going to facefuck you deeply and tenderly. Tiy mentioned in recent dev notes (for a patch tomorrow in the afternoon iirc) that they're experimenting with the defense / ARP system, because as it stands, it just does not make for intuitive gameplay.
