He is already in a clinic, he's just not 100% committed to staying clean and making it so he has enough time for it to not show up on the urine test for the doctor. Some places make you go once a week, twice a week or once a month. So sometimes it's easier to get away with. A methadone clinic usually makes you go once a day, but methadone is the worst way to go in my opinion.

Nah dude you cant do outpatient if your trying to get clean specially off heroin, you gotta commit to being inside and have no way contact of friends or anyone who influences you rellapsing while trying to get help.
