The FFA zones need to be no longer FFA and follow standard server rules (SolB and Permafrost). They are popular pvp farm spots and the system is currently broken from that point of view.
The 8 level range is fine, while you will never kill a level 60 at 52, with some teamwork you could easily win 2v1.
