I never ask for pp but still always thank the person when they tip. CRs and lowbies I don't expect anything from but I've had level 50s+ ask me for a port then run off. If the port is out of my way (i.e. some effort is involved or I'm not actively porting at that time), then yeah, I expect something in return.
