They fought their way through convoluted caverns, engaging Lizardmen in mortal combat. Steel cut air and flesh as the group worked deeper into the maze. The air crackled with energy as strong magicks splashed against armor and skin.
At last the air freshened and a massive pyramid stood before the travelling warriors. Armed guards of Cazic Thule marched in patrol around the base of the structure, not yet aware of the danger they faced. Verite had come.
