Issue is, they don't want more then 2 servers in the end, teams99 is going to act like a bridge to red99, to renew the player base and try to get new blood on here.
It's not possible to get new blood into red99 as it is now, it's just gotten way to far, teams99 with the current red99 code + global ooc etc will give new players a much better experience and hopefully with that experience more people will stick around, and eventually it will merge into red99 where you have farmed for a year uncontested and more fun will occur
I think if they just kept red99 , the pop would maybe grow by 50 and 75% of those would end up in nihilum which in the end would lead to a dead server where nihilum raids uncontested, not what u want to see if youre running a pvp server

Personally don't have a problem with the idea of T99. I just want them to release it on a correct timeline. If velious is anytime in the next 6 months they should release it and then release T99 4-6 months into velious. Red should be running with 300ish pop nightly with Velious which I think most can agreed it a nice number.
Then once Velious starts to wear on people and those not in the top guilds bore of it again they will have T99 waiting for them.
The worse thing they can do is release T99 and then have velious release anytime within 6 months of its release. The blue players who went to T99 would go back to blue and some of the ex red players would go back to red leaving T99 in a bad place.
