1) NPC is aggroed. It does a /shout To Signal it's respective underling NPCs.
ie Treah Greenroot shouts, "Sylvan protectors, the glades call for your aid!"

2) The respective underling NPCs then path to the location where Treah Greenroot /shouted. The NPCs do not have aggro when they are called, but when they reach the location, they will either assist their boss or proximity aggro players. The NPCs appear to walk rather than run to this location.

As Treah Greenroot is engaged, he will continue to /shout for help to update the location. The time between calls appears to be based on whether or not Treah is moving to new locations. When I am kiting Treah Greenroot around, the time between calls appears to be 7 seconds.

When I was engaged to Treah Greenroot and stayed within melee range, Treah Greenroot did not /shout beyond the first time.

3) The underling NPCs will path to the location where the /shout occurred. If unaggroed, the NPCs will stick around at the location for 50 seconds. (I originally thought they just pathed there and back, but I used /time with targetting rings to time how long individual protectors arrived/left). Even if the Boss NPC dies, the underlings will still path to the location of the shout.
Thanks. Edited scripts to allow the npcs to stay for 50 seconds and distance checks to happen every 7 seconds.
