No you can PvP very competatively with 1 group kunark gear. There is no severe advantage that Nihilum has anymore, especially with the changes to clickies. You can have very fine resist gear and weapons without even doing epics. Roll in groups and form smaller guilds. Support the servers feeder guilds.
