Dude, I totally see where you are going with this statement.
However, when you look at what the "average" person is doing while you're "wasting" your life on an MMORPG......I'd go with the MMORPG.
I do agree on the servers progression at this time though. It's an excellent idea that has been destroyed by either a shitty player base or a lack of discovery.
No matter what character I play I don't look forward to anything.....cuz I've already had it all before. The only thing I was really looking forward to was Kunark because that was really when I started enjoying the game. I really hope that the devs releasing Kunark is not hog-wash.

As far as the devs being in the guilds that are raiding and such.....Not a whole lot to say about that considering they are the reason we are able to even play on this server in the first place.....I'd say if it's a huge problem just apply for the guild and go with them ? I dunno.

I'm barely level 20 remembering how awesome it is to creep along as a casual player. Remembering the countless hours it took me to get max level back in the day actually depresses me.

Peace
Yea don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing and still do. Unfortunately, I can't commit the time. I've got other stuff I should be doing. MMO's are that great escape from people who don't understand partying needs to be in moderation. As much as I like to party and drink, I need to be more attentive to my goals and future.

MMO's offer that alternative to getting fucked up every night of the week. I'd rather spend my time in a virtual world than ruining 13 hours of training volume in the week and derailing a diet when I'm cutting weight. The problem is I just compensate with the gaming. It starts taking priority. Even though it's nothing incredibly exciting. I do it out of habit. I'm the epitome of gaming addiction syndrome. (Yes, I made it up)

Being in P99 instills a great deal of nostalgia, but it wears off and turns into shit. My experience is unique. I'm sure other people have taken to this server with great zeal.
