These are sports. Not no holds barred fights for life and death. Real combat techniques allow people to kill people regardless of the situation. Weight class matters less. Who strikes first how, and wear matters more.

P.S. I've also seen skinny 150lb chicks fuck up heavier guys with the right moves and technique.

Just being bigger is not a 100% sure win. Its a good advantage in an upfront fight. But its not guaranteed. It is also a disadvantage in that your likely to tire much quicker unless you have the fat reserves to back it up in a long drawn out battle. Who would you rather fight against? Someone who can out last you for hours while you run around and get tired? The aboriginals who are not in amazing athletic shape because they run track every day and do 300 pushups ( a waste of energy ) are at a severely increased advantage over someone say Hogan dropped in their neck of the woods.

So listen up folks, taking roids and having muscles the size of a cow does not = win.

Also plenty of wiry special forces goons out there that look like they have anorexia.

You can be strong without "Muscles".
