We aren't talking about society at large here, we are talking about a thousand or so classic EQ players, normal people that share common interests typically like to create an environment where they can do it enjoyably. The case is not the same here, because half of those people only enjoy creating an unenjoyable environment for others.
You aren't likely to go to say a car show and find a group of guys that trashes the place and tells everyone else to fuck off. They want to create a good environment to take part in their hobby. The same can be said about pretty much any other group of enthusiasts, just not EQ players...they have a special kind of retardation that prevents them from acting like adults.
