Oh here's one folks. All casters with a knock back should know this.
You can control the direction of the knock back effect present on many DD spells. I'm a paladin and many later stuns have a knock back effect, meaning that you actually move the mob on which you cast a few feet.
The mob is knocked in the direction the caster is facing when the spell lands. As a tank I used this a lot to keep my mob nearest to me. I would be facing the mob, cast a stun with a knock back, turn around to face the other direction, the knock back spell lands and makes the mob go in the direction I am facing (towards my toon), and then I turn back around for more fighting with a closer mob.
When you have half a raid force that can time this, some of the trickier placement raids after the scope of this server, become easier.
It's still useful here for micro placements.
