The bacterial impulses of humanity need to be controlled.
Ultimate human progress cannot occur through anarchy, self-interest, or the state of nature.
Authoritarian/fascist systems can still consist of liberal societies and democratically elected governments.
I am a strong believer in worldwide population reduction (through reduced birth rates) to around 25 million people. This can't be accomplished by anything other than a fascist/authoritarian system.
Population reduction and managed population growth solves nearly every current major problem on Earth.
