people are upset about Alecta devoting his time to PvP they have the wrong attitude towards it. Having Alecta doesn't subtract from Blue, it is simply an addition to Red.

This was not my point at all. My point was that PVE fixes on red might be more effective in terms of making the server enjoyable than PVP fixes. Alecta will of course work on whatever he enjoys, which is how it should always be with any volunteer project.
