Some petitions you should bump, others you should not.
IP exemptions are pretty much the only forum petitions you don't want to bump. They are handled in a FIFO order. Oldest are done first. 20-30 petitions are done on average during every batch when I do them. Probably a third of those petitions supply incorrect or insufficient information, and they get bumped to the next batch. If after 30 days passes and no reply back from OP when I tell them what they need, it gets moved to resolved.
