Rand is hardly a model libertarian. I don't know why you have to stereotype all libertarians as extreme fundamentalists.
However your beloved Obama, Mccain, Clinton, Reagon, Gore, basically everyone since JFK was shot have been raging extremists even if they platformed as moderates.
