I feel that the game would be better if the naming policy was enforced. I'm very surprised that people who make douche names want to play on P1999. I guess I was thinking this is a more mature crowd that loves old EQ. I figured all the tossers would be lvl 99999 on live.
I understand this is a volunteer-run server and therefore they don't 'need' to do anything. But why have a policy if it is not enforced? It gives the impression that people can get away with things as long as they aren't noticed.... and of course we wouldn't want to encourage THAT sort of behavior
