Though I cannot play as I wish currently in the 50+ range (connection issues + not wanting the guilt of letting my linkdead kill someone else) I do play number of lower level characters where death isn't that big of a deal in the 20-40 range.
It's true our numbers are waay down atm but there is still a handful of people leveling up out there. They will not come seeking you. If you want groups you have to make them. It's a bit of a burden but when you do get a grp going it usually sets a trend and you can get at least a duo goin most of the time.
I cannot stress enough, the value of being able to attack other players. I played on blue for about 6 months before I came here. I have tried to log on blue here and there and even on nights when we only have 28 on red, I still can never get myself to play for more than a mana bar on blue.
From the outside red looks like a pretty hostile place, but if you give the stockholm time to marinate, it really starts to grow on ya. And you just might enjoy yourself.
Novice tips:
- Forget your sense of American Entitlement, tl;dr: you can't always get what you want. You will be killed here and there are lots of bigger fish. Take the hint and move a long, no one gives a fuck or wants to hear about how tough shit is in unrest for you.
- lvl up more than one character so you don't get caught up in your, by now, life long habitual role as the victim of any given situation. Crying about a corpse?gtfo'ere
- Use your words. Also, if they don't reply, now would be a good time to check your pvp buff/spell setup.
- don't afk all night like a little faggot and then get the one good thing this community had goin for it banned because you're a whiny little future nihi-app bitch who can't handle the consequences of your actions and are thus, in the opinion of the great many, cheating and using precious server resources to do so.
