Well.. Fishing I'm not sure about post 200... But I did a fair amount of tradeskilling in the live classic era. I can tell you that tailoring can be quite profitable, once vellious comes out, but that getting your tailoring skill past 200 will be several orders of magnitude harder than you likely think, and several orders harder than , say, leveling to 50. At the moment, pre-kunark, there are no tailoring recipies in game to take you past 200 in tailoring.

Smithing is also hard to do post 200, but is also somewhat rewarding, if you really stick to it, but less so than tailoring. I believe that the high level smithing recipies are also Kunark or later

Baking is mostly for show and roleplaying, also hard to get past 200. At some point, they introduced foods that upped your stats, not sure if that was Luclin or Velious though. That food did have some utility value.

Brewing im no expert on, except insofar as it relates to tailoring.

Basically, any "serious" tradeskilling, like everything else in classic EQ, is Hard. It is not something to do on a lark, it requires alot of investment in time and money upfront.

Low level tradekilling, basically any of them up to say around 80-100, is not TOO hard to do, and along those lines Id recommend tailoring, I guess, for the ability to make 10 slot bags at least.

You didnt mention jewelcraft, which was always the most "complete" tradeskill, implementation wise in classic, I believe you can get all the way to 250 and the high end stuff has value to players. But expect to dump ALOT of plat into getting there, like thousands. maybe tens of.

try www.eqtraders.com for tradeskill info, but be aware that the site is still active and has alot of post Veliious material.

Also, some of the implementaion of tradeskills is off on p99, I understand for instance that Wu's Armor is availiable now, while on Live that came out in Kunark.
