In other words, there is not a single serious person who categorizes people based on "race" or "skin color." Sociologists prefer that we use the joint terms "nationality," "ethnicity," and "culture" to express the largest groupings of people. This is due in part to the fact that "skin color" does not really relay any significant information, nor do "facial feature groupings," nor do any combination of these and many other elements. To put it bluntly, there are black skinned people indigenous to india, and tho ireland and england are close - and to an N.Korean who has never seen white people may look similar - if you call me a limey I'm going to punch you.
