Iady, relapse is right man, anything will run p99 made in the last 10 years. Sometimes it takes some fucking with, but you can get it running smoothly on any system for sure. I've done this with at least 6 different pcs of varying ages. and helped countless people get it working on their systems in tech discussion.
If you're just looking to spend as little as possible on a system that will run EQ, find something post 2005 and buy it. I say post 2005 because if you're going any earlier than that you're probably getting an expensive paperweight, even if it can run eq.
