The biggest problem with the new server is they are basically saying, hey we are going to kill r99 for 6 months, then it will be good again.
So red players have 2 options
Quit for 6 months
Play on T99 for 6 months

No, the biggest problem is R99 itself. Bad rules bad players. If R99 was in any kind of decent state this wouldn't be an issue.
