Hey, just a suggestion - get the mace from the Undead Cleric in Kithicor. Can be solo'd probably around 34, or duo'd earlier than that. Not too rare of a drop.
The attack-delay ratio is a bit worse, and the wis is a bit higher, but this way you save that plat to upgrade other slots.
