New PvP Team Server
I don't know about all of you but I am quite excited. I am looking forward to it being a PvP team server. I hope the server will be successful. I think the most important thing to happen is to make the server less likely to be a griefer haven. This is what happened when Red99 was released.
Some good ideas I really enjoyed:
Teams by Race - Yes it limits classes but I think it was great
Teams - 3
Level Range - 4 level range sounds great
XP Group Bonus - I would love this, would encourage grouping which is what EQ is about. I have always thought grouping should be faster xp than solo. Overall PvP is more difficult, I think the leveling experience should be x4 - x8 faster than P99.
They were talking about item loot, maybe they should make items only lootable on Pkers. Once a players initiates 10 fights in a row, they become lootable one item from slots bags whatever. Their name color should change color as well so people know. This would wear off when player is logged on for a certain amount of time.
