Also, Syft is making the argument that this isn't a fair way of leveling entire groups of people, not just a solo bard. You're severely underestimating how much someone can block you from xping this way on a pvp server.
Take 20 minutes to gather a pull in one of the karanas just to get pelled / snared / rooted or otherwise ganked without getting the xp. Then spend another 10-20 running back naked from HHK / Qeynos / wherever and risk being corpse camped or killed again in pvp. On top of the normal risks you run from PVE.
Breaking bard AE kiting will not stop the devoted from powergaming to level 50 within a week of server coming up.

Bind yourself right outside OT Fort, ding 30-52 in a day, yea sounds legit. Sorry but Swarm kiting is really good enough for a bard to solo to 60 faster than any other class in game.
When this became prevalent on Live they nerfed it, of course 15 years later everybody knows exactly how to do it and most toons on this server hit 60 because of it. On live 80% of the toons weren't bard lvl'd to 60.
Some classic idea's need to be abandoned when they threaten the integrity of the box.
Fast track lvling allows neckbeards to put a strangle hold on a server, not just by outlvling everyone off the jump but by lvling tons of alt's as well.
This impacts the economy as well as Tune's Alt#503 gets gear over someone's main.
