There are plenty people who hate on hybrids and or bards because of the exp penalty they bring to groups. But if you show you can haste and mez everything then they shouldn't complain.
The best way to group is always to start the group. Just do a /who search for the classes and the levels for people you want and send out tells to every person available. Should only take a couple minutes and you will probably get a lot of people wanting to join. Always always just start a group, especially a hybrid. The a again you are a bard and you can kite literally 200 mobs at once cheater, so there's that

Agreed, starting a group was always a great choice back in my old days. Back then my mezzing, manasong, haste and overall utility landed me a lot of compliments as a groupie....just gotta get back in practice.
