Indigo Brotherhood = Neriak Warrior guild (hard to stumble in there unless you're lost, big blue sign outside it in Neriak Commons)
Dreadguard Outer / Dreadguard Inner = Guards.
...there's a wine quest in Neriak 3rd Gate, I don't know what factions it raises without looking at the wiki but its easy to do.
If you're making a dark elf wizard, you can invis to bankers and bank out of line of sight of the bankers around walls in North Freeport and Felwithe if you wanted to.
Having had a dark elf wizard on live, I can say that doing parts of the epic can be more tricky as turning up at Halas (and places) you'll be kos

Overall though, excellent racial choice... the evil races are far better than the good ones.
