biggie was killed by puffy.

People say I'm crazy, but pditty, now just ditty so that he can be closer to his fans (the fuck?) stood to gain the most by eliminating biggie.

Think about it. Sean combs was always in the background, was always second to his friend and employee, biggie. Combs was there at every concert, every recording, every performance as biggie was blowing up. But he was always in biggie's shadow. Everyone knew biggie. Only people in the know had heard of combs. And anyone who knows about mr pditty knows that he loves being in the spotlight, and doesn't like to share. Combs was tired of '(that fat bastard)' (i'm assuming thats what he called biggie behind his back) getting all the attention. It wasn't about money anymore - they had plenty of that by the time biggie was shot - it was about fame, power, and recognition. Enough was enough, it was time for biggie to die.

So combs calls in a hitman from the hood. He had these kinds of connections from being in the business. He made sure that he was in the car when biggie was shot, not only to make damn sure they knew where biggie was that night, but also to make sure biggie din't survive the attack. And what better alibi for a hit? He was in the car - who would be dumb enough to call a hit on a vehicle they themselves were in. But I think its just too coincidental that puffy wasn't shot, only biggie took rounds. Some guy firing wildly through the window in the middle of the night just 'happened' to fill ONLY biggie with lead? right. I don't think so. Those shots were carefully aimed. Hell, chances are, the hitman got out of his car and had time to make SURE those rounds missed combs.

But why, you may ask? Isn't it obvious? Literally RIGHT after biggie was dead puffy started blowing up. Before biggie died, he was NOTHING. Why would he be anything? Bigige was clearly the front man, clearly a better artist, far more charismatic, had a better story... everything. And Ditty KNEW he would continue to sit in his partners shadow for as long as he lived. All he had to do was eliminate big, and he could move front and center for the audience. And that was EXACTLY what he did.

These days, ditty is almost a household name. He's won tons of awards, sold millions of albums, performed at all the big shows, including a performance at the MTV music awards (i think it was that show) in rememberance for his dead murder victim and former friend, biggie smalls. A performance that, i should mention, became a huge hit on the radio as a single and sold a ton of copies. In the end, sean got what he wanted, and the world lost an incredible artist that was only just beginning to showcase his talent. It's very unfortunate that greed cut hort a life that should have lived much, much longer.

As far as tupac goes, I have to give him a ton of credit for being an incredible showman. He knew his audience well, and he played to it. The guy was incredibly intelligent, and was never a 'thug' (he said this himself). Tupac went to an arts middle/highschool, and did a ton of 'gay' things like ballet. While this may sound like it should subtract points from who tupac was on stage and in the studio, it really just adds more. When you consider that pac spent a lot of time with ACTUAL gangsters and thugs, some of them stone cold killers, it gives you a really good idea of the balls on this guy. If you've ever wondered why pac's lyrics were so intelligent, it's because the man himself was incredibly smart. He orchestrated the beef with biggie because he KNEW it would play to his audience and fans, he knew it would give them what rap fans wanted in the early 90's: real, gangsta, shit. And he gave it to them. THe str lik he'd been biggie pac rap beef drew people n more than ever, and put pac and biggie in front of the world. It was just one of many smart, thngs tupac did to help his career.

I have a suspicion that when pacs pals found out he wasn't really a gangster like he had been hinting at in his sngs, they got pissed and offed him. This theory isn't quite as concrete as the biggie/puffy one, but regardless, all the info on pac is true. It actually makes me enjoy his music even more knowing that the man put on a show for years and years, making everynoe believe he'd been raised as a banger. Pretty impressive, considering who he was playing too and spending time with.
