I just got a Beagle pup and she has been good so far. Like all puppies, they will get into trouble and chew etc. I crate train her and she has been doing well evacuating outside, although she goes inside sometimes because I am not paying attention.

The males will be crazy and howl etc, females are more docile. Once outside the nose goes to work. I have a fenced in yard and let her run while under mime or the wife's supervision. She gets along well with our 3 1/2 year old daughter too. When I take her out to do her business I let her go and bring her inside immediately. If she just hangs around the yard and dinks around, I bring her inside.

She is used to her crate and she will immediately go in when I pull out a milkbone.

As with any puppy, they will be nuts the first few months.

Also on adopting, I filled out 5 applications and nobody got back to me. Plus they want $400 just to adopt. I got mine from a breeder for $500 with papers. I also do not feel comfortable having people come to my house and want to know where I work and my bosses name, AND want references.
Problem is they never leave that stage. They have all the worst puppy traits for life.
