As a 50 who runs across people like this occasionally, I have one piece of advice. Send me a tell and say something like ''Hey I just got this group together to come get some xp at X camp, could I possibly coax you into letting us have camp?'' NOW! Of course maaany players would go /anon and that's that.
But sometimes...we might just not be complete assholes and move along. All depends on how we are approached. Can't hurt to ask! I've given away loot to people who come by and want the camps loot, just so their travels were not in vain. Ask!!
