About a month ago some of the nurses were talking. Night shift nurses are more amusing of course. Somehow the conversation went into this direction.

Nurse 1: Is the penis a muscle?
Nurse 2: I think so, yeah it's a muscle.
Nurse 3: Of course it's a muscle! What else would it be?
Nurse 4: Dunno, it might be, I think it's an organ though what do you think *insert my name here*?
Me: Pretty sure it's an organ, but aren't the four of you the ones who've gone to medical school?
Nurse 2: *Sure of herself* I don't know about that, let's look it up.

actually your skin as a whole is an organ. a penis is made of spongy tissue, not muscle. But it's part of an organ (your entire epidermis).

muscles are organs, so even if the penis was only a muscle, it would still be an organ..

more properly tho, the penis itself, but more correctly the male reproductive system, should be considered an organ system or group, rather than a single organ.

Muscles are not organs. pick up an anatomy book.
