You could have tried hard for "no compass or map" or fixing Sirran and folks "wouldn't have it"
Yet here they are despite saying they would quit
You still have a few PvP champions that really enjoyed red like Zyrino on red, they'd tell you its not as much of a career ender as the exiled blue server players (read leadership of current raid guild) would have you think. They just lose some of their non-classic advantage on an ffa pvp server.
